The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year. We will participate in ancient symbolism, especially meaningful for those who are experiencing grief, illness, loneliness or who just are glad that the days will be getting longer again. We will be in solidarity with one another in our “dark nights of the soul,” enjoying beautiful mellow music, lighting candles, and welcoming light into our lives.
